Behind the notebook

Dr. Sofie Kim

Curiosity, your own voice, and a life path that is yours to explore.

I want this writing to help you find the questions that are truly your own.

My purpose is to nurture curiosity and invite you to explore who you are, what you want, and what you want to understand. The direction is yours to discover; my role is to guide exploration, not prescribe a life path.

News, research, and evidence can offer starting material. But sharing information is not the final purpose of this space. I want to open conversations that make room for your voice, your questions, and your own sense of identity.

Finding your voice: Artistic Identity

Music and creativity offer a connection to Artistic Identity: the ongoing exploration of how you express what you notice, what matters to you, and the questions you want to ask.

Classroom discussion, student questions, teamwork, and composition are examples from my teaching that can inform this writing. I offer them as starting points for reflection, not as a universal formula.

A beginning, with room to grow

The publication’s first category is Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Superintelligence (SI). The focus is on thoughtful questions and each reader’s own exploration—not on replacing your voice with someone else’s answers.

This space carries my name so that its design and editorial direction can evolve with my work. New categories will be added thoughtfully, when they are chosen.

Where NeuroMusic fits

NeuroMusic is my method. It is part of my work and one thread in this publication—not the boundary of what I’ll write about.

You can learn more on the NeuroMusic website, or visit my existing personal website.

A note to readers

This is a new publication, beginning with two news-based reflections. Thank you for being here at the beginning.

Writing here is intended for general information and personal reflection, not individual medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
